CR is a simple, intuitive, and fully automatic system. It allows for the automatic detection of plates, their size, insertion direction, reading, and erasure. The professional can enjoy a very simple interface that includes an automatic activation and hibernation system.
The plates are used in conjunction with a cardboard sleeve and a disposable hygienic wrapper that ensures the asepsis of the entire system. The plate never comes into contact with the patient or the practitioner/operator, optimizing its lifespan.
The Owandy CR scanner can be used in endodontics, prosthetic surgery and implantology, periodontics, and caries diagnosis. It is compatible with all plate sizes and adapts to all practices (bite wing, retroalveolar, posterior, etc.) and all types of patients:
Size 0: child.
Size 1: incisor block.
Size 2: adult.
Size 3: bite wing.
Size 4 (2 x Size 3): occlusal block.
Its minimal dimensions make it the smallest scanning system on the market. It can be stored anywhere in the office, and its compact and elegant design adds a technological touch to the clinical room.
The direct USB connection of the device ensures extraordinarily easy installation and use. Once the plate has been scanned, the resulting negative is immediately displayed on the computer screen connected to the Owandy-CR scanner. This type of connection makes this device very easy to use, both on a single computer and in a network.
