Cada diente que decides conservar tiene una historia. Su siguiente capítulo empieza con tus decisiones clínicas.

A patient comes to your practice with a tooth that needs endodontic treatment. You assess the case, examine its anatomy and plan how to approach the root canal system. But even before you begin, one question ties the entire treatment together: how will you restore that tooth to regain its function and aesthetics?

Choosing the preparation, materials and adhesive protocol is part of that same story. And when endodontic and restorative treatment are planned together, each decision serves a shared goal: preserving the tooth and taking an informed approach to its rehabilitation.

On 26 and 27 February 2027 in Zaragoza, IPG Academy invites you to explore this connection with Dr Luis Baroni and Dr Lucía Fernández. Two complementary perspectives, endodontics and oral rehabilitation, to help you translate evidence into the decisions you make every day in clinical practice.

From Questions in Clinical Practice to Clinical Protocols

When should you choose a direct restoration, and when an indirect one? How can you manage the tooth substrate using a minimally invasive approach? What should you know about the materials you use in endodontic treatment and tooth reconstruction?

During the course, you will work through treatment from endodontic diagnosis to restoration. You will review material selection criteria, preparation types and adhesive protocols, and explore the digital workflow applied to composite stamping and injection techniques.

The aim is to help you connect each technique with its indication and understand the reasoning behind its selection, so you can approach your cases with greater clarity.

From Clinical Reasoning to Practice

The course will include workshops to connect the content with its practical application:

  • Safe, predictable instrumentation and obturation tailored to the root canal system, with a review of heat treatments and bioactivity.
  • Stamping and injection techniques, to explore which technique and protocol to use in each case.

An opportunity to review your approach, practise procedures and expand your knowledge of developments in materials for endodontic treatment and tooth reconstruction.

Two specialties, one shared vision

Dr Luis Baroni, whose practice is dedicated exclusively to endodontics and who teaches on the Master’s programme in Endodontics at the University of Zaragoza, will share his clinical and teaching expertise in endodontic treatment.

Dr Lucía Fernández, who holds a PhD in Dentistry, is a senior lecturer at the University of Valencia and directs the Advanced Continuing Education Master’s programme in Dental Prosthetics, will explore restorative decision-making, drawing on her expertise in prosthodontics, aesthetics and oral rehabilitation.

Your next case will bring new questions. Be ready to answer them with up-to-date protocols and a more comprehensive view of treatment.

Book your place at IPG Academy and take the next step in your endodontic and restorative practice.
