PURPOSE

What is the purpose of collecting your personal data?

  • Clients: We collect your data in order to register you as a client and manage the orders you place, including invoicing, shipping, and all related administrative processes.
  • Students/participants: We collect your data to register you as a student in the course you have enrolled in, for academic management, billing, payments, and to perform all associated administrative tasks.
  • Commercial Communications and Newsletter: We will send you commercial communications if you give us your consent or if you are a client or student.
  • Images: We may publish images and/or videos of your participation in activities organized by the entity—such as training sessions—on this website and/or on our social media profiles, subject to your prior consent.
  • Contact Form: We collect your data in order to respond to the inquiry you have submitted.
  • Video Surveillance: The management of images captured by the video surveillance system installed in the warehouse aims to ensure the safety of people, goods, and facilities, and to monitor potential criminal activities or acts constituting criminal offenses.

LEGAL BASIS 

  • Data Subject’s Consent: GDPR: Article 6.1(a) – The data subject has given consent, through the corresponding form, to respond to their inquiry, receive commercial communications and/or subscribe to the newsletter, share their data with other entities within the corporate group, or publish images/videos in which they may appear on this website or on the entity’s social media profiles.
  • The data controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) lies in maintaining the necessary relationship with clients/students/participants to ensure the proper provision of services (managing registration/enrollment, academic administration, order processing, invoicing, payment, and delivery), as well as communicating incidents or sending information that may be of interest to the client/student/participant. It also includes maintaining the security of individuals, property, and facilities, and monitoring for the commission of crimes or criminal acts.
  • Performance of a Contract: GDPR: Article 6.1(b) – The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract between the parties, for purposes such as registration, order management, payment, delivery, or enrollment in a training program.
  • Compliance with a Legal Obligation: GDPR: Article 6.1(c) – The processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation when required.

Obligation to Provide Data and Consequences of Not Doing So: The data marked as required in the forms are necessary in order to contact us, register, enroll, or place an order. If the required information is not provided, it will not be possible to establish communication with THE ENTITY, complete the registration as a client/student, or process the order.

RECIPIENTS

To whom do we disclose the data you provide? 

  • Public administrations and their various bodies, when required by legal obligation.
  • Email and web hosting service provider.
  • Banking institutions for payment processing, depending on the selected payment method.
  • Tax and legal advisors to comply with the entity’s tax and corporate obligations
  • Odoo for newsletter management.
  • Shipping companies, for the purpose of order delivery.
  • Other companies within the corporate group (Zarc4Endo, S.A. and Inversiones y Proyectos Gómara, S.L.),
  • Prosegur video surveillance company

International transfers: No communications are made outside the EU except to Facebook when images/videos are published on the entity's social media profiles, based on Article 49 of the GDPR (data subjects’ consent), as these are also occasional publications.

DATA RETENTION

HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN YOUR DATA?

Data will be retained as long as the data subject does not request erasure and a commercial relationship is maintained. Once the relationship has ended or a deletion request has been made, the data will be kept in a blocked state to address any potential legal or administrative obligations, until the applicable statute of limitations expires (a minimum of 5 years).

Images will remain published as long as the data subject does not request their removal and they are still considered to be of interest.

Cookies will be retained as specified in the Cookie Policy.

RIGHTS

What are your rights when you provide us with your data?

  • Access: The data subject has the right to know what personal data THE ENTITY is processing about them.
  • Rectification: The data subject has the right to request the rectification of inaccurate personal data.
  • Shipping companies, for the purpose of order delivery.
  • Erasure: The data subject has the right to request the erasure of their personal data when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
  • Restriction of Processing: In certain circumstances, the data subject may request the restriction of the processing of their data. In such cases, we will only retain the data for the exercise or defense of legal claims.
  • Objection: In certain circumstances, the data subject may object to the processing of their personal data. In such cases, THE ENTITY will cease processing the data, unless there are compelling legitimate grounds or it is necessary for the exercise or defense of legal claims.
  • Data Portability: This right applies only to automated data and consists of transferring the data from THE ENTITY to another data controller (not to the data subject), upon the data subject’s request.

You may exercise your rights, including the right to withdraw your consent (if previously granted), by sending a written request to the address indicated above or by emailing hola@ipgdental.com.

Automated decisions

 No user profiles are created, nor are automated decisions made.

SECURITY MEASURES

The website is hosted on a secure server, and all information provided is transmitted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and subsequently encrypted in our provider’s database.

In addition, THE ENTITY has implemented both technical and organizational security measures based on the results of a Risk Analysis and a GDPR and LOPDGDD compliance audit, taking into account the nature of the personal data processed.
