IPG Dental is a Bronze Sponsor of OMD 2025, the leading congress for dentists in Portugal

The Congresso da Ordem dos Médicos Dentistas (OMD) 2025 will take place on November 6, 7 and 8 in Porto, consolidating itself as the largest gathering of dental professionals in Portugal.

Every year, this event brings together thousands of dentists, researchers, and specialists interested in updating their knowledge and discovering the latest technological innovations.

The program combines a scientific agenda with courses, keynote lectures, practical hands-on sessions, and the Expodentária trade fair, where the latest industry innovations are showcased.

In this context, IPG Dental will have a dedicated space focused on endodontics, magnification, and aesthetic dentistry, with the aim of bringing the latest product trends in these specialties to the Portuguese market. Additionally, the company will sponsor a hands-on session on endodontics led by Dr. Carlos Franco.

In this edition, IPG Dental will participate as a Bronze Sponsor, reaffirming its commitment to the continuous education of Portuguese dentists and to driving innovation in the dental sector.

IPG Dental will also have a 36 m² stand at Expodentária 2025, where it will showcase its main innovations and strategic partnerships.

At this stand, visitors will be able to discover the latest proposals from leading brands such as Kiyomi, Zarc, and Víttrea, recognized for their focus on quality, precision, and innovation applied to clinical practice. One of the highlights will be the recent alliance with ZEISS, positioning Víttrea as the distributor of its renowned microscopes in Portugal.

The addition of ZEISS microscopes to the portfolio strengthens the company’s commitment to magnification, an increasingly decisive area in modern dentistry, particularly in specialties such as endodontics and aesthetic dentistry.

Endodontics hands-on with Dr. Carlos Franco

One of the most important highlights of IPG Dental’s participation in the OMD 2025 Congress will be the hands-on course led by Dr. Carlos Franco under the title: “Endodontics: instrumentation with BlueShaper PRO® and the use of new bioceramic sealers.”

This theoretical-practical course is designed for dentists who wish to deepen their knowledge of advanced instrumentation techniques and the use of new biomaterials in endodontics.

During the session, participants will:

  • Gain first-hand experience with the BlueShaper PRO® system, recognized for its efficiency and safety in root canal instrumentation.
  • Explore the clinical benefits of new bioceramic sealers, materials that have transformed endodontic practice thanks to their biocompatibility and sealing ability.
  • Practice procedures in a guided environment, enhancing both technical skills and understanding of the most up-to-date protocols.

The presence of Dr. Carlos Franco, a key reference in the field, guarantees a high-level training experience oriented towards immediate application in daily clinical practice.
