NeoMTA 2®: Repair Cement by Zarc

The repair and sealing bioceramic cement NeoMTA 2® by Zarc is indicated for the effective treatment of the pulp and the canal. Being the second generation, its characteristics have been improved: it is easier to mix, brighter white, and does not stain.

Biocompatible

It promotes hydroxyapatite formation on the surface to seal and facilitate healing by releasing calcium and hydroxide ions. It is fully biocompatible, non-cytotoxic, non-genotoxic, initially high pH (alkaline/basic) that has demonstrated in vitro antimicrobial properties.

NeoMTA 2 is a repair cement indicated for:

• Direct and indirect pulp capping.
• Partial pulpotomy.
• Cavity liner and base.
• Pulpotomy and apexogenesis.
• Perforation repair.
• Root resorption.
• Obturation.
• Root apexification.
• Root-end filling.

Without resin

The new generation of NeoMTA 2 repair materials is dimensionally stable, without contraction to ensure a gap-free seal, minimizing the possibility of bacterial infiltration. Without resin for maximum bioactivity.

Higher radiopacity

The equivalent radiopacity of NeoMTA 2 is 30% higher than previous generations of cement.

Brighter white without stains

NeoMTA 2 achieves brighter and whiter results without causing discoloration.
