The Thermaprep oven by Dentsply Sirona is ideal for a 3-dimensional obturation. It heats the obturators between 20 and 49 seconds depending on their size. It includes an internal timer that beeps when the obturation material reaches the optimal temperature. The material is kept at the correct temperature for 90 seconds.
Obturators are quickly heated in the Thermaprep oven in both single and dual heating modes. Three-dimensional heat is kept uniform in the heating chamber until the obturator is ready for use. This makes it the perfect solution for treatments in multiple canals. Thermaprep uses LED indicator lights and alert sounds to notify of any changes.
The obturator holders are designed to allow stable vertical entry and exit from the heating chamber.
The cleaning function increases the temperature of the Thermaprep oven and softens the gutta-percha inside the heating chamber for removal.
The oven is available in a kit that includes: 1 Thermaprep oven (B00THPR230VEU), 1 ISO 020-045 verifier (A017502590003), 2 GuttaCore Pink 25 (A1703B0042500), 1 GuttaCore Pink 30 (A1703B0043000), and 1 GuttaCore Pink 40 (A1703B0044000).
