The K (Kerr) files by FKG are made of stainless steel and are specially designed for probing and permeabilization during canal preparation. Due to their rigidity compared to drills, K files effectively penetrate the canal.
FKG's K files are available in blister packs of 6 units in ISO sizes ranging from 06 to 80. They have a rounded tip (only in FKG) to reduce the risk of step formation and are equipped with an ergonomic Safety Memo Grip (SMG) handle for controlling application and sterilization cycles.
The FKG K instruments also feature an Ergoflex ergonomic handle with a rounded area converging into a flat part to facilitate handling during treatment and prevent the instruments from rotating more than 180º.
