The Buchanan hand plugger by Kerr features a tapered NiTi end and another end made of stainless steel. Buchanan hand pluggers can be used in any common obturation technique, including both warm and cold condensation. They are also ideal for retrofilling procedures.
The NiTi end, color-coded on the Buchanan plugger, should be used to finish condensation procedures, even in highly curved canals. Both ends compact and control the movement of gutta-percha. Additionally, Buchanan hand pluggers are crafted from high-quality materials to ensure excellent durability and sterilization.
This plugger system is designed for precise adaptation to the final canal preparation, optimizing the condensation forces of the obturation material without applying excessive pressure that could damage the root canal.
It is available in three sizes: 0, 1, and 2.
