The Z-Evo by Zarc is a continuous and reciprocating rotary endodontic motor that includes an apex locator to facilitate the work of the endodontist. It features an OLED screen that displays information about the motor and the apex locator. This screen can be rotated for comfortable use with both the left and right hand.
The apex locator can be integrated with the motor function or used as an independent apex locator by connecting the manual measuring cable.
The endodontic motor allows for absolute apical control, as the position of the file is displayed on the screen, and the motor rotates in the opposite direction when the file reaches a pre-set apical working length to avoid overinstrumentation. Additionally, with the help of the manual file clip, canals can be accurately measured with manual files.
The Z-Evo apex locator displays the file's approximation on its screen and provides an acoustic signal.
