These FGM Brava Blocks are made from nanohybrid vitroceramic composite that cures under ideal conditions and is presented in block form, ready for machining in automated lathes. This composite contains particles ranging in size from 40 nm to 5.0 µm, with a total inorganic filler content ranging from 72% to 82% by weight (52% to 60% by volume) in a highly cured resin matrix.
One standout feature of these blocks is their high conversion rate, reaching approximately 86%. This value is significantly higher than that of most conventional composite resins (55-60%). This, combined with an appropriate particle size distribution, results in a composite with high hardness, mechanical strength, and wear resistance, making it an ideal choice for applications in both anterior and posterior teeth.
