The Propex Pixi apex locator takes up very little space during treatment, storage, and transport while maintaining accuracy and reliability. The device operates in both dry and wet canals and does not require calibration or zero adjustment.
Additionally, the Dentsply Sirona Propex Pixi has dual control of file progression, meaning it is possible to control the file advancement through both visual and progressive sound control with 4 volume levels.
Operating features of the Propex Pixi apex locator:
The file enters the canal: double beep.
Files in the preapical zone (from 2.0 to 1.5): intermittent beeping.
Apical zone (from 1.0 to 0.0): continuous beeping.
The file has passed through the apical foramen: rapid intermittent beeping.
Note: The scale from 2.0 to 0.0 does not represent the distance in millimeters but indicates file progression toward the apex.
